Meg MacKinstosh and the Mystery in the Locked Library by Lucinda Landon FIC LAN 3.5	Meg investigates the theft of a rare book from a locked library. The reader is challenged to solve the mystery before Meg, using clues in both text and illustrations.

Authors of "Zoe The Earless Kitten", Melissa and Lexy Webb from Kingsville, Texas visit elementary schools to teach children the importance of kindness to animals.	Students listen attentively as the authors explain how they decided to write a book about their real life experience of rescuing Zoe, their kitten. Zoe was an abused kitten who was rescued by Animal Rescue Kleberg. He ears had been cut off and she had been thrown in a dumpster to die.
