• The RHS Choir team for going out to the UIL Concert & Sight-reading Contest this past Thursday, April 3rd, at Texas A&M-Corpus. These young students performed three selections in the Performing Arts Center.  They also sight-read a piece of music they had never seen. For both portions of the contest, they were awarded a Division II-Excellent for their performances.
• The SkillsUSA Drafting Club members who participated in the SkillsUSA State Skills & Leadership Contest on April 3rd-5th in Corpus Christi.

Selina Arce placed 3rd in the Iota Lambda Sigma Career & Technology Teacher's Honor Society writing Contest. She won a bronze medal along with a $50 cash prize.

Chapter Display team members: Steven Charles, Ruben Elizondo, Rudy Gonzalez, Ashley Hernandez, Chelsea Koenig, Omar Lopez, Jonathon Mares, Ray Vasquez and Rene Zavala placed 3rd and received bronze medals along with a trophy.

The Promotional Bulletin Board team of Veronica Anguiano, Abigail Garcia, Stephen Garcia, Michael Hinojosa, Liza Silva, and Leslie Vasquez placed 3rd and received bronze medals and a team trophy.

In Mechanical Drafting Skills Rudy Gonzalez won 2nd, receiving a trophy and a silver medal and Ashley Hernandez placed 3rd also receiving a medal along with a trophy.
