good morning this is a sort of a quick impromptu kind of Shack we had to do kind of quickly so forgive us for not having it later in the day and for it's going to be quick I'm going to go ahead and explained that Mr Mr bosquez is not with us he's not able to see is the shack president and I do have um some of my committee members here and it's important uh committee members cannot always make all the shack meetings but um this should be on the shack advisory Council it's a parent or someone from the community that can join us to listen um to all the things that go on in the school any changes update say insecurity is always part of it always a nutrition part of it um anything physical or anything doing Health um mental and emotional wellness and so you'll get these updates we have different speakers throughout the years that we invite to come and speak uh to us and these are a lot of our community resources that we have available to the community so we try to get the word out there uh to let them know what's available to them to their and to their children today we're going to have um um Mrs Lisa Spivey she's the director of The Early College at Robstown Early College High School and she's going to be speaking about the character strong curriculum it's a curriculum that is added throughout the day and it is taught she's going to speak more about about it um and then our committee members of our committee we are going to vote on whether or not we're going to have this uh curriculum it has to be passed through the shaft in order to add to be added to the curriculum in our schools and so um while she's speaking when she's done I will ask a a committee members that are here um to decide and we will um then give us the you know decide on a vote and then we will um let her know and so then it has to be presented to the board afterwards and that the shack approved or did not and then we will have Mr thag who will um our Safety and Security of dates uh Mr Sanchez might have a few words to say and then we will uh close the meeting this morning so again thank you those of you that are parents um please join the chat come to our meetings we'll post them ahead of thank you I'm gonna turn it over to miss spy hi everybody um I'm Lisa Spidey I'm am the director of The Early College at the high school um I also oversee the counselors in the district because I was a counselor for like 13 years before I got into uh the admin side of things um our counselors utilize the program called character strong it is um it is also where we pull all of our bullying prevention um lessons as well and So currently our elementary counselors are getting into classrooms once a week um and so we have their schedule and they're able to go in and present on seems like empathy perseverance um I'm trying to think of other ones off the top of my head um and they're all they're all geared for pre-k through 5 and so you know they're varying as far as um you know obviously with with the littles there's lots of songs involved and um fun interactive games that they can play and as they start to get a little older they get more into the discussion pieces um writing about things um and that progresses all the way through Junior High and high school so it's been a great program our counselors really like it our students really like it um and I know that our um District social workers also utilize the The Bullying prevention um lessons as well when they go in and present to to groups of kids um so yeah we're just hoping that we can keep it going um the the next component that I will probably ask about later in the year is um they have a correlation between um classroom uh books like uh picture books and things like that that can integrate with the lessons which I think we could be a really great piece later on that we can add as well um to to help our counselors when they're presenting to different grade levels any questions yes it is currently being used um our I think our subscription ends in September maybe 15th somewhere somewhere in that range they really do they like it they use it um you know uh sometimes they'll uh occasionally they're like I really like this lesson I found a song that I like better so I'm going to integrate the 2 which I think is great that's what good teachers do in their classrooms they take the curriculum and then they can kind of make it theirs um but what's great about it is that it's all there there are there's you know uh the presentation piece as far as you know any slides and things like that there are worksheets and handouts there's parent newsletters that can go out there are multitudes of different games that can be played whether in the classroom or outside um and so there's really multiple ways that they can integrate it through all the different learning styles that you would see you know in a regular elementary middle school high school class yes so our um our our counselor well and I'll say it's a little different in secondary so in Elementary's they're already hit the ground running our elementary counselors secondary is a little different because the first few weeks of school as we're getting in new students we have to create schedules we we get kids who have scheduled changes so those first couple of weeks of school we're getting everyone settled where they need to be and then the counselors will going into the classrooms to implement that curriculum um at the secondary level they are not getting into classrooms every week um what we shoot for is every 3 weeks maybe 4 weeks depending on what's going on um so it is a little different that the stakes are high in um the secondary level as far as um keeping that classroom time as valuable as possible so they are utilizing it in different ways and then um the way this program works is there's different levels of intervention so Tier 1 is what we would do for everybody but maybe you have students who have higher need and need more intense intervention so they also have lessons and uh resources for kids who really need like a smaller like we're going to do a small group and talk about you know whatever it is that's going on in life and so there's also those options as well that the counselors can utilize so I remember character Counts from back in the day and it I think what I remember about it is it was like a a 1 page on a character trait and then maybe they had like some discussion stuff on the back and it was like a binder this is way more interactive than that um this is I mean I am not an elementary person I'll just tell you right now but this does have like bright colors and songs and you know all the fun stuff you know that little kids like they get them interactive and the whole idea behind it is you're teaching them young to uh build things like empathy conflict resolution so that they can take those skills with them throughout their their life and so you're kind of building on it year after year and so as they're getting up into those older grades the level of discussion and stuff becomes a lot richer yes ma'am was just and and you know maybe it is true it's starting well and I will tell y'all from the High School perspective and we have several new teachers that are new to our district and they will pull us aside as administrators and tell us all the time you guys have the kindest kids they are they're eager to learn they're they're just they're so you know humble and they're so good to 1 another and you know I love that and I like to continue that momentum and make sure that we're you know continuing going to build that into all the kids that yeah we get we get cracked on a lot at the High school with our with our new teachers they really love our kids yes ma'am because that's a lot of that it is sad to see it and I mean I always told my kids that be good be respectful with your teacher with your friends don't be touching everyone other kids food like any little thing there we keep them or we told them I think they can start taking you know like taking every day well and 1 of the great things about this program is it's got parent resources and so we're able to you know if we do like a parent newsletter or anything like that there's always a component on you know parent resources what can you be doing at home how can you you know take what we've been talking about the past you know 2 weeks and you know kind of keep that momentum going at home and so I think that that that's I think you're right on with doing that is new anything yes it's a yearly renewal yes absolutely their own life and they they think they're going to be like their parents and they don't want to better themselves so I think that's very important because it's it's already been like in the third fourth them and it's a work that makes company start right there yeah that is absolutely something that's covered in there um I believe there are uh for each grade level there are either 12 or 16 do you yeah so there's and so you know each each week is like a theme you know or you know they'll be like an overarching theme and then we're going to break it down like and talk our kindness and then we're going to talk about what does that mean and showing empathy and things like that and then we move into another theme and kind of break down those character traits as well thank you is that good okay show y'all uh like what a second grade lesson looks like if you want to see it let's see where am I okay all right I forgot this is not touchscreen okay so this is the second grade sample it's be kind showing empathy um so it also has a staff Pursuit so like you would want to you know get with your teachers and say okay I want you to choose a student and commit to investing you know 2 minutes out of your day uh 4 days in a row and just check in on them see how they're doing you know um so you're building those relationships uh we have the the family newsletter I don't know how long it's going to take to download this okay there we go um so we have a family newsletter and it kind of goes over you know what the lesson was about um you know planting those roots identifying um problems as big or small um big problems require help from an adult small problems can be solved on their own um and so you're you know kind of building that information for the kids what is the word empathy mean in your own words um and then gives you some different things to pursue um uh Pursuit 1 um at school we use our emotion elements to represent different emotions and so they're they're kind of going back and reviewing the um the lesson with the kids let's see yes that could be something that they could take home um here's the little oops sorry I was trying to make it big and I went all the way to the end so let's try that again remember the time when you felt scared and you wish you had somebody then and understand you change the world just like be open their hearts will open our minds in someone else's shoes oh is understanding get an idea of what little songs are and then a high school 1 yes so here's a 10th grade sorry I keep wanting to make this a touchscreen and it just is not um okay so here is so this is an overview video this session is part 1 2 part series and in session students are going to be practicing understanding more about people in the room and taking up the Spectrum from different from as a reminder if you'd like to see any development vocabulary for the you can put this a to z icon and since calling you from integrate with Em Right on for today's session jumping straight into the activity the purpose of today's activity is to practice empathy this helps us to feel less alone and understand others in the room more deeply the idea behind the session and students will have an opportunity to connect with 1 another and to make inferences about 1 another in a way that they may not typically have time for the opportunity to do we'll begin the lesson with students by telling them that they'll be responding anonymously to a series of prompts today shuffling their responses and practicing taking on these perspectives in order to role model the class to students before they have the chance to answer you'll choose 1 of the Cross below to answer yourself a dream you have a fear you have something I worry about often is for something I care a lot about is once you've modeled until we want to based off the instructions to take up the piece of paper and fold the paper into 4 equal quadrants the more times they folded the easier it may be but they're going to first fold and then tear the paper so that they create 4 roughly from here instruct students to write a brief response on each of the 4 pieces of paper they shouldn't write their names because the goal of this activity is an anonymous prospective taking exercise so on 1 paper I'll announce we write a dream that I have is the second paper a fear I have is and so on give students 3 minutes to write about 1 sentence each just a brief response from each page and then instruct students to close their eyes and throw their papers into the air when you sneak up students will then gather for 4 pieces of paper around them in the room that are not their own and form a group with 2 other people for a group of students these 3 people are now going to have 4 minutes to engage in prospective taking give students a moment to first read through their cards and then they're going to choose 1 of the papers to read aloud and choose a prompt to respond to something that might cause this person to feel this way is the question I might ask this person after reading their responses or based on who this person's response something else that I think that they dream worry if you don't care about this students should have time to answer at least 1 each if you see the groups finish early and stroke them to go another round or on a circle while waiting for the groups to finish up and then you'll have students find their seat the Mind students that in today's activity we explore different perspectives we practice empathy and that this is important because it promotes better understanding and compassion for 1 another we slow down and take the time to engage in these exercises from here you'll be given choice you can click end to go ahead on to the character challenge or you can extend the lesson for an additional follow-up question students will be given a few minutes to reflect on their experience at bedtime as a group how have you or others in your group practice empathy during this exercise what did that look like how do we model that and then end your time together with a final and this is a quote by the late chat Boseman and realizing that our own suffering is a sheer Human Experience we are compelled to cultivate compassion and make conscious choices to prevent conflict pain on others I would get some students time to read the court on their own to find any work that may need a little bit extra scaffolding and then give students time what is the quote mean to you what is child with Boseman truly saying if you have another minute students can be given 1 minute to reflect on the back of a piece of paper from earlier today what is something we learned from others today while practicing complete and those little papers could make a great exit ticket if you want to collect those on students way out today that should bring you right up to be challenged and we thank you for your time watching this video we'll see you next time so you can tell the difference between an elementary and you know a 16 year old right so um and and they do have it for you know every single um you know like they had the 10th grade lesson and 11th grade lesson um they've got College and Career Readiness in there um Middle School they've got you know 6 it'll be 6 seventh and eighth so it really does um change with every grade level which is good because just uh a lot of the programs that we have it's um or that I've seen in the past all right this is for you know Elementary and it's like yeah we did that last year it's like yeah the Middle School so here's seventh grade hello and welcome to another early video my name's hie out and the secondary specialist here at character strong and today we're talking through the 7th grade session values in action now this session is the first of several where students are going to be really diving deeper into what values are important to them what values really mean in their life and how it influences the life today's activity is called value tree and also you'll notice from this first slide students are going to need something to write with and something to write on the goal for this activity value tree is to identify what values are important to us and to also look deeper what are our Roots where do our values come from so much like the roots of a tree help the tree to grow strong the roots of our own values come from our past history that people that raised us the environments become from and taking a bigger look at where our values can help us to explore them further and to get to know ourselves better in the long run so you can start by outlining the students but they're going to be talking about values where they come from and why values are important for how we live our lives we're going to start by defining what a value actually is how they show up in our lives and giving students the opportunity to think of some values that may be important to them for students who have not seen values before or have not really talked about values we may want to Define for students the values are like personal beliefs about what's important to us values help shape the choices that we make and who we want be but not everybody has the same values because different people come from different backgrounds and so depending on how we were raised where we come from what we believe in our values may be different so we'll start by showing students some values on the slide at this point I would have students to discuss which value do they can give the most important and why they may also be a good chance to see if students can name some other values and see if they are falling under the same category of first I believe something that outlines the ways that we live and the choices that we make in life what students have identified some values that are important to them we're also going to talk about how values come from not only our personal life but also from our community the people we spend time with the way that we grow up what is important to our different cultures or our different families May influence what values important to us you'll share first of the educator by giving an example so you'll first Define a value that's important to you and where in your life you feel like that value came from and also how that value guides your actions and choices um at this point you may want to introduce a that wasn't 1 of the examples on the previous slide so maybe to expand on vocabulary you might say you know my value is resilience my grandmother always taught me that hard work and getting back up when you fall is really important and gets you all the places you want to go in life so being resilient is a value that's important to me or you may want to reinforce a conversation that already happened with the values on the previous page by calling back to 1 Knight hide this patience something that we've been talking about already then you'll prompt students to draw an outline of a simple Tree on their paper this is purely for a metaphor it doesn't have to be a huge artistic Endeavor but make sure to prompt students to leave some space around the trees to take notes so their tree needs to ultimately have 3 Roots 1 trunk and up to 5 branches from here we're going to start by making our tree metaphor the metaphor of the value tree is how our values are important to us and where they come from so next to the tree trunk you're going to prompt students to write down the value where that they chose earlier on in the session the example who is here is honesty the next thing still so add to their tree are the 3 Roots succeed each of the 3 Roots you're going to have students write down 3 things in their life that influence them to have the value that they chose so where did this belief come from and try to be a specific as possible so for example my trunk is honest maybe 1 of my roots is that my grandmother really thought honestly is important and she always told me that lying about mistakes is worse than making them so getting really specific can you think of example a quote um something that was said in your life something that is important to people in your life those will be our free Roots the Informer values the final step for these trees is the new growth so next to the 5 tree branches you're going to have students list 3 to 5 ways that they could put their value into action in their life so how does our value guide and inform choices if I've been talking about honesty perhaps 1 of those branches would look like I can practice honesty by letting people know when I'm actually upset not having to pretend everything's okay but being honest about how I feel once you've convinced students time to develop their tree then we talked a little bit about the science trees so that we can make this metaphor even more applicable to this values conversation so we mentioned in real trees fruits create the foundation that holds the tree of the ground and that is what allows the branches to grow so students will take some time to review their own trees but the person sitting closest to reflect on their Roots first answering questions like how are real tree roots similar to The Roots on your value tree then they'll move on to the branches by answering a few questions with their partner again such as how do you think a tree growing its branches relates to you and your values was 1 way that you want to grow in the future this will bring you to the close of the lesson be sure to call back what we did today we introduced values what they are where they come from and how they influence our choices just like the roots of a tree bringing nutrients up to the branches to allow it to grow we take time to look back at our own routes to to ground ourselves in the values that are important for us and to help us inform the decisions that we make and the direction we want to go in when we put our values into action we build our character and this is going to lead you right into the comp you're about to have that introduces the character there and so I'd have to go into my actual account um I believe sixth grade would typically fall in the elementary section but the the examples I have are just right now second and fourth but in the program obviously we have yep this is implemented is it for grade level daily weekly so at the elementary the counselors get into the classroom once a week and then at the LM at the junior high and high school we're looking at you know every probably 3 weeks or so that's every 3 weeks just because of the number of classrooms that are available and the number of counselors available so when you you know like at the high school we'll have a 60 teachers or something like that and we have 3 counselors so there's there's just no possible way to get in weekly it's just logistically not possible what are they able to go to they are able to go through the the the lessons and stuff like that with the kids yeah yes yeah and this is all web-based so that they can access it yeah yes yes absolutely all right hello everybody she would please drop some Police Department uh on my safety update uh at the end of last year we uh got our weapons system for the last speech and our dealers are bringing up I know we probably talked about it last time it is other than we have training and there's metal sectors and there's weapon protector basically what we have our campuses are weapon detector systems because that's what it's looking for so like if your phone your keys um anything like that is looking for Jake's density stuff like that that it seemed thinks it's a weapon what why that's important because when it goes off like it was a school district and PD at some point permission to now check so if you go through there and it beeps that's what's happening now because what it's looking for now we can change the sensitivity to where it's uh it's picking up everything but like I said right now we have it at that that's that's our main purpose is we're looking for weapons so we're we're looking for we don't want any guns on our campuses as well with other districts the state those are the issues that they're dealing with so again like I said our main focus is we don't want any weapons on campus that's what that's their main purpose again everybody has to walk through them I have to walk through I always go Set It Off My Control I'm making sure it's working whenever I go through its that I have so like I say it's a control system uh we are looking into getting more but my first phase was to get 1 on every campus so now we have 1 on every campus we can move forward on trying to get as many as we can to the capacities depending on what the compass dimensions are because a accounts that are different um we just completed our fencing my project at the uh Robert Driscoll uh that went into effect probably a couple couple months ago but again we've just completed it again we're looking to upgrade a lot of the stuff that we have a place right now doesn't mean they don't work as easy you want to keep upgrading keep our systems going uh and getting better because like I said it's just safety it's all safety everything we're doing is just make sure everything's safe in the campuses then students and staff that we're trying to keep nothing from happening again with that if there is anything that we've seen that we don't like I said I'm okay with your questioning it okay well that's something there I don't know what's wrong something's telling me and then just call just call either the officer know the principal know somebody knows so we can go look into an address and I'd rather again I'd rather go to but I also want to know if it's something I need to do and it could be anything again what we have in place right now for 1 of those for those situations that we you again you can talk to anybody at the school you can reach out to the officer they'll let us know we need to call PD they're call us to same same process goes there but we do have the my voice which is our Anonymous Reporting System um again it doesn't have to even be school related it's just something that you're concerned about that you feel pity to look into and you don't want to give your if you you want to you can but if you don't that's fine but put it under my voice so we can look into it because again that's what it's there for Again by the law we have to have 1 uh it's being it's being used uh like as much as it we think there's more that it can be used for I think people get stuck with oh it didn't happen at my school oh it it has nothing to do with the school that's really like I said it's just the information we just want the information so we can look into it and then we can go from there we're not asking you hey what's the information we'll look into it for you and we'll see what um right now again oh um we did we saw a need uh for our s like we we train our staff and people on the campus upon our safety procedures we thought we needed to teach to our students to so we are starting campus safety teams at every campus uh we I think our first 1 will be today's our first 1 uh for enemy once a month we'll get with our students and and go basically the same thing we go over with the the whole the Secours I want to detail what we're doing why we're doing it a lot of times they may not know what get an easy just let them know more that's the reasons we do it our official details uh so again and then we'll have an straighter than also uh just in case but again also it's just to make that communication with the students that they need to tell us something queue it doesn't do it that information we have that Rapport that hey we can talk to that when and then at the DAP we saw on YouTube on on the DAP side uh I read the the leader in ebook and I thought well that be something that we can start off the DAP search going over the leadership like when you use the core values as our as our pattern of what we're going to show them teach them get their input again the same thing is just to build the 4 2 if they feel something's going on they can report it to us too although this year is try to lessen our dapp in attendance the teacher man there is a way out so how not to come back you go through our uh our our system just to make sure hey am I doing this am I doing this I'm doing this because again a lot of our kids gave me to be kids that we have the so hopefully that's our plan this year is the lesson our attendance here any question understand we're kind of open compass out campus so in every entry point because there's so many little detectors in there um go see what at every campus um High School's huge I'm probably gonna get 4 or 5 over there I can drive in and get your backpacks right but like there's some kids with lunch boxes and like kids just walking from the Dollar Tree or whatever Dollar General across over pants shoes I I you can always hide something if there's no I I just you know there's so many you start thinking about things and you're like well there's so many entry points every time for the the morning from the stadium side sometimes from the front it's just open at a certain time but believe it all the way to close except for the front there is a guard check in the back I I about 8:00 everything's closed it's over the phone so the only point that you're really at the high school is the front and even if you want to go to the back entrance you have to go to the front check in for before you can go to the back on this item Banks out there been out there for the last week but like this past few days she has put that 1 I mean I just no and again but the the with the high school it's a little different because there's more buildings at the high school district so it's kind of like I said any other question last year what say we can be any information if it applies to us then of course but it doesn't but I I have communication with all the indices around there so I can let everybody know if it we're going to fall in sight uh but again I can reach out also uh with the I think the Medics they usually child uh see classes I can see maybe they have because I know they give them to you uh they can give you a Chelsea that people need something like that so we can have that conversation yeah like I said in uh I depending on the where the traffic is at the schools we have you know 1 officer but I do reach out to PD also so they could help out with traffic control witness it last week where a little Rose the traffic is it just hazards on there because I'm always trying to to drive to other exactly and she's trying to get her back out of that system it's very chaotic topic waiting to pick up our kids and then we're trying to leave because we got to get to either the Jubilee or the high school because we have other kids to go pick up and they're parked on the side I almost got hit too because I'm trying to leave and then we have vehicles still coming they go down the road instead of waiting or going around ugly right there off is there any ways that instead of the road they can at least Park in there no no let's talk I know Mr lover about painting that whole other side I don't know how far that would be a good idea to have a door bigger Target yeah just yeah let me help me with and see what you do so they have that I want to that if they don't want to wait in the they have that option she brought it up last year but I don't want to see nobody's Ace of attention to that or what but that's a lot of people want I think it's necessary it's like urgent to look sidewalks from the apartments to the school because they don't pass that blocks and it's like dangerous because people has to work hard to walk in the street especially with the statement at all yeah I've seen it out their authors create no sorry we're talking about this but people driving like I can't say I'm a traffic like now it's 3 Lines pretty much because as the line waiting was there passing the day when I moved there and then traffic that they're going you know like normal you know what I'm saying I don't know if you ever been there but it's like pretty much 3 Lines now the sometimes we aren't waiting in the line and there's like cars passing and then there are and it's like this previous is narrow so today exactly can do we understand that I totally play there's going to be like at least to not fear during this whole like pickup time just to the point that that's just trying to go you know like to the raft or something sort of like going through there they can just go yeah a lot of them when I have seen it a lot of do you do that but the ones that that I'm just trying to do it it doesn't look like all traffic is not a traffic anybody think someone would learn quickly and you see do you see them they see and they'll go through that during this time but I would I'll be able to with the principles there and see what we can do how we change I do not because I know I know there's people that have to watch you know to their home they don't have so don't block the crosswalk Frozen people to use it instead of having to go through the vehicles on the road you know I think so there are 3 different streets it was 2 years ago before I think if they stopped doing it last year there was the the 3 actually say open yeah I live in Street Market so I come from that way right so it they 2 years ago they had that leg open but now I have to go down further just to get in that 1 line okay everybody's going yeah like I said you had some issues that's why we changed the way it was but again that leads to some other issues that we have to look at and see what's what's better so I again I know it used to be a lot longer I know it's got like 20 minutes something called the kids are out of the campus I think people have adjusted but again there's always room to approve so thank you so much for having me thank you all so much for all comments what the shack is about so if you know I mean you guys are voicing things that we don't know and your principal doesn't know and our safety doesn't know so this is kind of like 1 of the places that you can come invoice um what your needs are what your child needs um things changes you'd like to see um this gives you a great opportunity so invite other parents and come out to our Shacks our Shacks are are sometimes they're long because we have a lot of people we have waiting lists of resources that want to come and speak to you guys and and it's important information and sometimes the whole room is full but we do feed you and sometimes we go a little bit over than the hour um but this is what it's about it's amazing I appreciate all of your comments all of your questions again I'm sending in for Ricardo or scarcity is the chef president he's not with us today but um so I'm I'm the district nurse I I don't run the show I just provide all this for you um so with that going forward any questions any more is any comments sure Lord is that the counselors go to on Monday I'm trying to think of what the schedule is off the top of my head I know high school goes on Mondays for sure they might go another day and then uh it was we still was probably actually knows uh the days that they go um and then Junior High of course goes over as well any other questions or concerns yes yes of course so yes we have a lot and usually when your kids come back in August all the stuff gets sick because they're full of viruses and and we'll keep those and and all kinds of little stuff that we some of us nurses you'll see wearing masks because we see so many but now we've also had a lot of stuff to Koh is going around again nothing has changed um you can come back to school when your fever free for 24 hours the child as well we cannot force you to wear a mask although we have masks available and we encourage that um and so we kind of track once we've had a lot of cases or more than you know we start seeing an increase what I like to do is have the nurse at the campus kind of keep track how many teachers how many kids what rooms so for the county health department I work really closely with them an outbreak is 5 students same classroom same week so if I have 104 and there's 2 and then 103 and there's 1 and then 1 teacher way back in 205 that's not an outbreak that's just but now if I have 5 in the same room in the same week then we have to now we are having them step up the cleaning we disinfecting so just know that um we're really on it and we have our list you can talk to our nurses anytime you have a concern they're on it um so with that being said yes they have to be fever free for 24 hours and they can return so sometimes yeah you're thinking you still have koide work unfortunately I can't change that that's it's not like it used to be um we can encourage masks the other thing that's been going around right now too is the stomach virus stomach flu and flu so yeah washing hands that's the biggest thing right now is washing hands and then I'm having the custodians constantly wipe all the handles every day wipe the handles wipe the handles because it's transmission from doing this or throwing up and touching their face and then touching handle so yeah Lori handles it so um yes and so we're kind of increasing that right now any other questions no okay all right well then I'm gonna go ahead and adjourn where is my paper there's donuts and there's coffee there if y'all want to take some I'm gonna rest of you um our next our next um shacke meeting is October 15th um that 1 will be at 11:00 and then that same day we're going to have our breast cancer walk as High School so it's going to be a really big nice event I hope to see y'all there and also find out if your RPI you're still welcome to come to our schools and volunteer if you guys want to volunteer our volunteer volunteers mean the to us so yes there's a meeting on Friday where do you go we're also going to be going over evaluations 74 family parent family engagement so it's here on Friday the service is at 10 on Friday I want to say it's at 10 yes I think it's 10 oclock here we'd love to have you guys is back now be led by uh Mr Ruben Sanchez myself and Miss Silva I believe are the 3 people at that meeting like what goes on in the schools and what the parents do miss Garcia thank you so much Miss Garcia is 1 of our instructors at the school and so she has the students come over so I appreciate you um you'll hear from the students in October and the rest of our meetings join our Shack volunteer at our schools she knows it's fun thank you all so much why do I have all right the rest of the morning come in you have a
