Parents and their children are invited to attend the district-wide Family Literacy Night. All campus students from Pre-K through 5th grade will be given the opportunity to come together to get information on a new phonetics learning program and iStation, a computer software program that gives reading support to students. There will be Letterland fun, giveaways from Scholastic Inc., a craft station, and visitors from the Keach Family Library. Parents will get information on how they can encourage the initiatives from home. In addition, each family will receive free books to help parents create a home library.
