We are offering a Saturday Planning Session on October 24, 2026, from 8:30–11:30 a.m at the Hattie Martin Library.

The focus of this session will be planning unit culminating activities, which are embedded within our Year-at-a-Glance (YAG) as Pausing Points. These days provide opportunities for students to demonstrate and apply their learning through engaging, purposeful activities aligned with the curriculum and instructional expectations.

During this session, teachers will have dedicated time to collaborate with district and campus instructional leaders to plan these activities, prepare instructional materials, and ensure alignment with the TEKS, unit objectives, and district literacy expectations.

This session provides an opportunity for teachers to receive compensation for dedicated planning time. Teachers who prefer to plan independently may continue to do so without attending the Saturday session. Teachers will be compensated $25 per hour of planning during this session.
