We’re proud to spotlight Joaquin Gonzalez, a Top 10 graduate of the Robstown Early College High School Class of 2026! Joaquin graduated from RECHS with his Industrial Instrumentation Level 1 Certificate and is currently working toward his associate’s degree at Del Mar College.
Now, Joaquin is putting those skills to work through a 12-week paid I&E internship with Tesla Gulf Coast Lithium in partnership with Del Mar College. As part of the I&E team, he is partnered with a mentor who will support and guide him every step of the way, while also learning and collaborating directly with teams across the refinery.
Over the next 12 weeks, Joaquin will work alongside industry leaders, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain hands-on experience that supports his professional growth and operations.
