Robstown, Texas — Robstown ISD is sharing a new opportunity to help eligible third-grade students strengthen their reading and literacy skills through the Parent Access to Supplemental Supports (PASS) program.
PASS provides eligible families with a $400 online account that can be used to purchase approved tutoring services focused on reading and literacy. Families can choose from approved providers, including in-person tutors, virtual tutors and eligible TIA-designated teachers.
To qualify for PASS, a student must be currently enrolled in a Texas public school and have scored “Did Not Meet Grade Level” in reading on the Grade 3 state assessment during the 2025–2026 school year. Eligible families can receive access to a $400 online account to use toward approved literacy tutoring services.
Parents can create a PASS Portal account now and will be able to apply once the application period opens this fall. If approved, families will be able to select a tutor and begin accessing supplemental literacy support for their child.
Families who are unsure of their child's STAAR score can view assessment results through the Skyward Family Portal.
