Child Nutrition Cashier/Kitchen Helper

The role of the school child nutrition cashier involves assisting in the implementation of
the child nutrition program and the use of correct meal count and collection procedures
where the school child nutrition manager assigns him.

Education/ Certification:
H.S. Diploma or GED and proven ability to perform duties and prefer experience in the
school lunchroom as a substitute cashier and must be willing to work toward T.S.F.S.A. Certification.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of computer
Knowledge of cafeteria work
Ability to work and deal with people.

Experience:
At least one (1) year of substituting in the cafeterias as a cashier, and or one (1) year
of cafeteria work experience and good standings; or must have 3 years experience as
a cashier or teller at a place of business.
