ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL EMERGENCY RELIEF GRANTS

ESSER III

The intent and purpose of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, ESSER III funding is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on students.  Local education agencies must expend a minimum of 20% of their grant funds on –

Evidence-based interventions, such as summer learning, extended day and comprehensive after-school programs, or extended school year programs; and

Ensure interventions respond to students’ academic, social and emotional needs and address disproportionate impact of coronavirus on students’ populations as defied in ESEA Title I, Part A, students experiencing homelessness, and youth in foster care.

Total allocation: $12,510,074

Note: The Allowable Uses of Funds Plan and the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan have been provided below in English and Spanish.  The district will provide information in other languages than English upon request and the district will use the services of a translator for any requests that are made and will provide equitable access to any person with a disability who requests access to the ESSER III Plan.

ESSER II
The intent and purpose of the CRRSA Act of 2021, ESSER II funding is to prevent, prepare for, or respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, including its impact on the social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs of students.
